Main Functions: Under the supervision of the mechanical foreman, the drill mechanic will repair and maintain a variety of machinery. More specifically:

• Identify, investigate and diagnose equipment faults, irregularities and malfunctions, and rapidly apply corrective measures
• Ensure the proper operation of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical machines
• Perform preventive work on machinery and participate in the development of an effective preventive maintenance plan
• Participate in the installation of new equipment according to specifications and operational requirements
• Respect quality standards of the maintenance, equipment or work methods and ensure continuous improvement
• Communicate and update quality standards or new work methods
• Carry out any other related tasks as requested by the immediate superior

Requirements:

• DVS in mechanics, electromechanics or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in diesel mechanics
• Valid driver’s license
• Good knowledge of hydraulics and electricity
